Catalog Item Requests using Now Assist and Virtual Agent

This demo shows how Bearing leverages ServiceNow's Now Assist and Virtual Agent to simplify catalog item submissions through conversational AI.

  • Using a badge access request as an example, users simply describe what they need in plain language, and the system automatically identifies the intent, presents relevant options, and guides them step by step through the request, including selecting access levels, setting dates, and reviewing the summary before submission.

  • Edits can be made mid-conversation without restarting the process. Once submitted, the catalog item is generated automatically and routed to the Physical Security Operations workspace, where teams can track submitter details, access levels, dates, and approval requirements.

  • Now Assist replaces traditional form navigation with a simple conversation, resulting in faster requests, fewer errors, and a better overall experience.
