Integrations
The Integrations page is where you will be able to authenticate your company’s instance into the Bearing connected integrations.
- In the Bearing Security Operations Workspace, select the “Configuration” icon in the bottom left side of the screen.
- Select the Integrations tab.

- Here you will be able to see all of the available Bearing connected integrations.
- On the integration you would like to connect to:

- Select “Edit Connection”

- Insert your connection details (i.e. Base URL, Instance FQDN, Instance ID, etc.)

- Select “Updated and Get OAuth Token”
Acre Security
This feature allows Acre Security users to import Access Levels, Card Holders, and Card Holder Access Levels from Acre into Bearing. This integration, along with OOB Bearing workflows, allows Access Requests in ServiceNow to make changes to a Badge Profile within Acre. To do these imports, please see the Import Jobs article.
Everbridge
Bearing supports integrations with Everbridge by allowing users to import their Assets and Contacts directly from Everbridge into Bearing. To do this, please see the Import Jobs article.
Everbridge to Bearing Wehbook
Bearing offers the ability to automatically generate incidents based on alerts that your operation receives through Everbridge. This feature is designed to automate and expedite incident management and workflows for the security team directly within the Bearing application. Before continuing with the below steps, ensure that you have set up your Everbrdige API Key in the Bearing Configuration space. This documentation can be located in the Alerts API Setup section of the Systems Definition Knowledge Article.
Set Up
- Access Everbridge Manager Portal.
- On the left-hand side, select Settings > Everbridge Open.
- On the left-hand side, select CEM Orchestration > Setup.
- Select “Custom Actions.”
- Select “Add Custom Action.”
- Action Title – The name of the Custom Action you are creating.

- For this action, use “Send to Bearing.”
- Action URL – Select “Post” and then use the URL that you would like to post the data to.

- For “Send to Bearing,” use the Bearing instance URL API details and “Post.”

- Click “Add.”
Launch Critical Event and Send to Bearing
- Access Visual Command Center (VCC).
- Click on the red Critical Event icon that appears on the map.
- In the “Alerts” section on the far-right portion of the screen, select the Actions (wand) icon.

- If this icon is not visible, select the three dots to view the hidden icons and select “Actions.”
- Select “Send to Bearing.”
- The event details will now populate within the Bearing application under Tasks > Security Alerts> All.
Microsoft Teams
This feature allows security agents to send messages directly from a Physical Security Incident record in Bearing to one or more Microsoft Teams channels. The integration includes secure connection setup, channel import, and a UI component for composing and dispatching messages. It also logs sent messages in the incident’s activity history.
Set Up the Microsoft Teams Connection
- Go to Configuration → Connections Page.
- Locate the Microsoft Teams integration card.
- Enter the required credentials:

- Token URL – typically in the format: https://login.microsoftonline.com/{tenant_id}/oauth2/v2.0/token

- Client ID and Client Secret – obtained from your Azure App registration
- Once connected, use the Channel Import feature to sync Teams channels into Bearing.
Note: This setup is typically performed by a platform admin or security integration administrator.
Send a Message from a Physical Security Incident
- Open any Physical Security Incident.
- Confirm the Microsoft Teams integration app is installed on your instance.

- If installed, a “Microsoft Teams” button will be visible on the form.

- If not installed, the button will be hidden automatically.
- Click the Microsoft Teams button to open the side panel UI.
Compose and Post a Message
- In the side panel:

- Select one or more Teams channels from the dropdown.

- Enter a message in the text box.
- The title is auto-generated using the incident number and short description.
- Click Post Message.
Confirm Message Delivery
- The message will be sent to the selected Microsoft Teams channels.
- In the Activity Log of the incident:

- You’ll see entries showing which channels were notified and the message content.

- Example: Posted message to CSIRT: "INC001234 – Camera outage at rear entrance"
- You can also verify delivery by checking the messages in the respective Teams channels.
CCURE 9000
This feature allows CCURE 9000 users to import Access Levels, Card Holders, and Card Holder Access Levels from CCURE 9000 into Bearing. This integration, along with OOB Bearing workflows, allows Access Requests in ServiceNow to make changes to a Badge Profile within CCURE 9000. To do these imports, please see the Import Jobs article.
