Mobile Guard Tours

This demo walks through Bearing's Guard Tour feature, which brings structured, verifiable physical security inspections into the Operations workspace.

  • Administrators can create tours by setting a name, priority, and operation type, then assigning them to a security group (rather than an individual) and linking them to a protected asset.

  • Each tour consists of individual checks powered by ServiceNow's Assessment Engine, with out-of-the-box templates for common inspections like AED and fire extinguisher checks.

  • Questions are fully customizable, and each check can generate a unique QR code that guards must scan on-site to verify their physical presence.

  • Guards complete tours entirely through the ServiceNow Agent mobile app (iOS and Android), following a guided step-by-step experience.

  • Upon submission, the platform automatically creates a clean audit record, flags any failed checks, and gives managers the visibility to review responses and take action.

  • The result is a shift from reactive to proactive physical security, fully integrated with assets, teams, and the security operations center.
