User Guide: Bearing Application Search Containers

Overview

Search now stays in the context of the Bearing application. Search containers (templates) are configured for every searchable Bearing table, so results are grouped and displayed consistently and predictably.

What's New

  • Search containers per table — templates for Physical Security Incident (PSI), Physical Security Operation (PSO), Physical Security Alert, Physical Security Request, Physical Security Task, and Protected Assets.
  • Curated search fields — each template defines which fields are included in the search query (previously all fields were searched).
  • Filter section reflects the configured search sources.
  • Smart result opening — multiple matches display in the search results view; a single match opens the record directly.

          How to Use

          1. Use the search in the Bearing Workspace.
          2. Narrow by source using the filter section if needed.
          3. Click a result — or let a unique match open automatically.
