User Guide: Catalog Item Updates & Now Assist Support

Overview

The request catalog has been restructured so that specialized request types have their own purpose-built record producers, and the new items are supported by Now Assist conversational intake.

What's New

  • Sub-categories removed from PSI — request intake is now driven by dedicated catalog items rather than generic PSI sub-categories.
  • General Security Request record producer updated.
  • New 'HR Request' record producer.
  • New 'Travel Security Request' record producer.
  • Now Assist support for the new catalog items — end users can create these requests conversationally through Now Assist chat on the portal (covering the new Event Security and HR record producers, among others).
  • On the portal, choose the specific record producer that matches your need (General Security, HR Request, Travel Security Request, Event Security, HR Investigation, etc.).
  • Or simply describe what you need in the portal's Now Assist chat — Now Assist will guide you through the right catalog item.
