User Guide: Facility Security PSI Form Simplification

Overview
The Facility Security PSI Form Simplification enhancement streamlines the Facility Security incident form by removing three fields that were no longer needed:
- Facility Category - removed
- Facility Subcategory - removed
- Access Impact - removed
The result is a cleaner, faster form for SOC Agents creating and managing facility security incidents. No workflows have changed - the process is simply easier.
For SOC Agents
Creating a New Facility Security PSI
Step 1: Navigate to Incidents
- Open the Bearing Workspace
- Navigate to Incidents > Physical Security Incidents
- Click New
Step 2: Select Incident Type
- Set Type to: Facility Security
- The form loads (now simpler and cleaner)
Step 3: Fill In Required Fields
Complete the standard fields as normal:

Step 4: Document Facility Details in the Description Field
Since Facility Category, Subcategory, and Access Impact fields have been removed, use the Description field to capture this information.
Step 5: Complete and Submit
- Review all fields
- Add any attachments (photos, documents)
- Click Submit
Updating Existing (Older) Incidents
If you open a Facility Security PSI that was created before this change:
- The removed fields may still be visible but read-only - this is expected
- You cannot edit those fields, and that is fine
- Simply update the Description or Work Notes with any new information
- Change the State as needed
