User Guide: Process Configuration Page Redesign
User Guide: Process Configuration Page Redesign
Release: 1.4.0
Overview
The Process Configuration Page Redesign replaces the old single-page configuration interface with a clean, tile-based navigation system. Instead of scrolling through dozens of options on one long page, SOC Administrators now see a dashboard of process tiles - each leading to a dedicated configuration page for that specific process.
For SOC Administrators
Step 1: Navigate to Configuration
- Open the Bearing Workspace
- Click the Configuration tab
- Click the Processes tab
You will see a grid of process tiles - one for each configurable process, each with an icon and title.
Step 2: Select a Process to Configure
- Scan the tile dashboard
- Identify the process you want to configure
- Click anywhere on the tile
You will be taken directly to that process's dedicated configuration page.
Step 3: Review the Process Description
On the process configuration page, read the Process Title and Description to confirm you are configuring the correct process and understand what it does before making changes.
Example Description (Lost Badge Request):
This process handles employee requests for replacement of lost or stolen access badges. When an employee reports a lost badge, this workflow immediately deactivates the old badge for security, creates a request for new badge issuance, routes to the facilities team for physical badge creation, and notifies the employee when the new badge is ready.
Step 4: Access Configuration Options
Each process page contains configuration buttons. Click a button to open that specific configuration area:

Important: Always use the on-page back button - do not use the browser's back button.
