User Guide: PSI Improvements — Protected Asset Filtering & Alert-to-Incident Fixes

Overview

This release tightens the connection between Protected Assets, CIs, and the records that reference them.

What's New

  • Filtered CI and Location fields in PSI — when you add a Protected Asset to the Impacted Protected Assets section of a Physical Security Incident, the CI and Location fields now filter to show only the devices and locations associated with that Protected Asset, giving you a narrower, relevant list to pick from.
  • Alert-to-incident field fixes — when an alert that has an impacted Protected Asset is promoted to an incident, the related fields now populate correctly, and alert activity-log updates are recorded as expected.
  • Comments on catalog-item incidents — all catalog-item-related PSIs now include a Comments section, so agents can post comments that the end user can see on the portal.
