User Guide: Workspace Menu Reorganization (Operations View)

Overview 

The Workspace Menu Reorganization introduces a clear separation between Physical Security Incidents and Physical Security Operations in the Bearing workspace sidebar. What was previously a combined "Tasks" menu is now split into two dedicated menu sections, making it easier to navigate and manage different types of security work. 

Key changes: 

• The old "Tasks" menu is renamed to "Incidents" and now contains only incident-related work 

• A new "Operations" menu is added for Physical Security Operations and related tasks 

• Site Security Assessments have been moved from their own menu item into the Operations section 

• The separate "Assessment Overview" menu item has been removed (no longer needed) 

For All Users 

Accessing Physical Security Incidents 

1. Open Bearing Workspace 

1. Look at the left sidebar navigation 

1. Click the Incidents icon (hover to see "Incidents" tooltip) 

1. View and work with: 

• Physical Security Incidents 

• Physical Security Tasks (incident-related) 

• My Incidents 

• Open Incidents 

Accessing Physical Security Operations 

1. Open Bearing Workspace 

1. Look at the left sidebar navigation 

1. Click the 📊 Operations icon (hover to see "Operations" tooltip) 

1. View and work with: 

• Physical Security Operations 

• Physical Security Tasks (operation-related) 

• Site Security Assessments (previously in a separate menu) 

• Guard Tours 

• My Operations
